Principal Architect (Middle Tier)

We aim to take the organizations through necessary Digital transformation that will help them to tackle business challenges in a more efficient manner and enable them to reach their goals. DeeVita is looking for a Principal Architect to be part of a passionate team that is building solutions for our strategic enterprise customer in US building a SaaS product.

• Review and understand product requirements through specification reviews, engagement with customers and peer team members
• Architect and design new middle tier/backend systems by applying fundamental principles into the whole system design that provides scalable, high performing system
• Design holistic system leveraging various advanced features of NodeJs, Typescript, JavaScript Graph QL and develop system design and document that outlines implementation scope for the entire team, review & get sign off from all stakeholders
• Drive implementation and be part of the development team to code, and deliver high-quality deliverables within schedule
• Ability to go above and beyond the stated requirements to provide the best solution for a given requirement. Someone who comes up with revisions to requirements because it is best for the product, customer and not simply goes by what is in the requirement document only
• Ability to investigate and troubleshoot an issue with implementation can make sense of the situation and able to drive efforts to resolve the issues by engaging with all stakeholders
• Adhere and pay special attention to coding standards, best practices, and maintainability
• Identify and Implement Performance improvements and Optimizations
• Engage with Customers and stakeholders in all phases of the project life cycle requirements gathering, solution design reviews, execution, and status reviews
• Deliver innovation in design and solutions leveraging the latest best practices in the area of expertise, evangelize across the team to adopt them, and continuously keep updated oneself on the latest technologies
• Performing technology/tools evaluation and software technical proof of concepts.

• Required 10-15 years of hands-on working experience in developing scalable systems, applications using, TypeScript, JavaScript, NPM and SQL technologies. Among these at least 3+ years experience in architecting/design and development of backend API Services
• Required at least 2+ years of experience in engaging onsite (USA) teams for execution and delivery independently
• Required experience with SQL and NoSQL database applications such as Postgres or MySQL, etc.
• Required experience in designing large scale systems from the ground up, collaborating with stakeholders to get necessary approvals and driving implementation applying engineering best practices in SDLC.
• Required experience in developing applications, solutions for the Financial Investment industry.
• Preferred to have experience using Git, JIRA, Docker, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies
• Candidates with mid-level experience in Node JS, AWS environment preferred
• A Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and hold yourself accountable.
• Experience in Blockchain will be an added advantage.
• Position may require occasional travel to USA onsite (post-COVID) and support from offshore US client teams.
