Power BI Developer

We are looking for a Power BI developer who possess strong design, collaboration, and leadership skills – A candidate who can approach problem-solving with a user-centric mindset and bring creative solutions to drive usability and adopt a reporting model.

• Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop.
• Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Gather data from various disparate sources, which may include RDBMS, Web APIs, or any other customized system.
• Organize large datasets and extract actionable insights. This may include finding innovative ways to integrate datasets that don’t naturally mesh.
• Should have knowledge and skills related to secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure and SQL

• Experience of 5+ years in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.
• 3 to 4 years of experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience of 5+ years and familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack comprising Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.
• Should be familiar and experienced in SQL.
• Should have handled complexity around visualization or data.
• A clear understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework

• Certified Power BI Developer is preferred
